1. Overview & Commitment

Welcome to Whiteboard - Teach & Draw ("we," "our," or "the Application"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our digital teaching, inking, presentation, and whiteboard application.

Core Privacy Guarantee: Whiteboard - Teach & Draw operates on an offline-first architecture. We do NOT collect, harvest, track, sell, or transmit your whiteboard drawings, PDF notes, student files, or personal identifiers to any remote server.

2. Local-First Data Processing & Storage

All content created inside Whiteboard - Teach & Draw remains strictly on your local device:

  • Whiteboards & Pages: All strokes, pen annotations, shapes, text notes, and mathematical formulas are stored in your device's isolated local app directory.
  • Imported Documents: PDF lecture notes, worksheets, and textbooks imported into the app are processed locally on your device using on-device rendering engines.
  • Offline Functionality: The core features of the app (drawing, PDF annotation, STEM lab apparatus, geometric tools, multi-page teaching) require zero internet connection.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

To deliver interactive teaching capabilities, the Application may request the following device permissions only when actively needed:

📁
Storage / Media Access

Why it is needed: Allows you to import PDF documents, diagrams, and images from your device storage onto the whiteboard canvas, and save exported boards as PDF or PNG image files to your Gallery or Documents folder.

📷
Camera Permission

Why it is needed: Allows teachers and students to snap a real-time photo of a physical textbook page, homework assignment, or handwritten diagram and instantly place it onto the whiteboard canvas for live teaching and annotation. Photos are processed strictly locally.

You have full control over these permissions and can grant or revoke them at any time via your device's Settings > Apps > Whiteboard > Permissions.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Advertising ID (AD_ID)

To support ongoing development and maintenance of Whiteboard - Teach & Draw, the Application may display non-intrusive advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob.

These advertising networks may access and process the standard Google Advertising Identifier (AD_ID) in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies to provide relevant ads, combat fraudulent activity, and report ad analytics.

User Control: You can reset or opt out of interest-based personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings under Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID.

Our advertising partners operate under their respective privacy policies:

5. Camera & Files Protection

  • The camera is activated exclusively when you explicitly tap the Camera icon.
  • Captured photos are placed directly on your active whiteboard canvas and are not sent to any cloud server or third-party analytics.
  • The application only accesses specific files that you explicitly choose to import.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

)

Whiteboard - Teach & Draw is designed as a safe, distraction-free educational tool suitable for educators, tutors, students, and children of all ages.

6. Content Sharing & Exporting

When you choose to export or share a whiteboard lesson:

  • Exported PDF documents and PNG images are created locally via native on-device rendering.
  • Sharing is executed exclusively through your device's native operating system share sheet (e.g., Android Share / iOS Share), allowing you to select your preferred target application (such as Google Classroom, WhatsApp, Email, or Drive).
  • We do not intercept, store, or monitor any shared content.
